Screw conveyor
About the product
The material is conveyed by rotating the auger in the trough, or. in the tube. The threads of the auger move the material along the bottom of the chute to the discharge chute, through which the material falls out.
A screw conveyor is a circular or trough-shaped conveyor, connected in two parts.
It consists of:
- transport troughs bolted together through flanges,
- inlet and outlet chute,
- drive,
- conveyor lid.

The conveyor gutters in this design form a compact rigid system. The lid of the conveyor closes the free end. The conveyor may be fitted with sensors indicating speed and overfilling. Both the screw and the chute can be made of standard sheet metal up to 3 mm thick or of thick-walled sheet metal up to 10 mm screw and 6 mm chute thickness.
It is also possible to supply separate parts of the conveyor, i.e. screw conveyors with or without a central shaft, screw conveyor segments and troughs.
The hopper of the conveyor must not interfere with the centre bed, the hopper must not interfere with the contact of the channel. The maximum length of the screw conveyor must not exceed 30 m, otherwise the drives must be placed at both ends of the conveyor. The flanges are in accordance with STN 26044.
