Expeditionary silos

If you need to speed up the transport of grain or bulk material, one solution to increase the efficiency of the entire process line is the use of a dispatch silo. This is a special type of hopper that is placed on the underpass structure. It allows material to be unloaded and trucks or wagons to be filled quickly.

In our portfolio you will find Symaga expedition silos, which are placed on a raised underpass structure with a wide range of capacities from 27 m³ to 267 m³. In addition to the delivery and installation of this brand of silos, PREMETAL MON also offers dispatch bins of our own production - namely square bins created by punching, bending and bolting technology directly from galvanized sheet metal. They are designed and constructed for fast filling of transport vehicles, with a running height of 4.5 m and a maximum volume of up to 86 m³ (capacity 64.5 t).

Symaga expeditionary silos and their characteristics

Symaga is a Spanish company with an international presence that specialises in the design and manufacture of galvanised steel silos available for various industrial and agricultural sectors. Their strengths include strength, durability, long service life and ease of installation. In 35 years of operation, Symaga has completed over 15,000 projects in more than 150 countries. The fully automated production plant achieves maximum quality standards.

• The 30° pitch roof is designed to optimise storage capacity and is adapted to the natural characteristics of the grain. The special geometry ensures high strength and rigidity. Made of high quality structural steel with a special ZM310 galvanised surface, it provides long life and excellent corrosion resistance.
• The cylindrical bodies of the Symaga Expeditionary Force are made of S 350 GD Z600 hot-dip galvanized structural steel. The dispatch silos are available in 6 sizes with diameters of 3 m; 3.5 m; 4.6 m; 5.35 m and 6.10 m. The overall height of the silo depends on the number of structural rings (each ring has a height of 1140 mm). The possibility of realizing the dispatch silo in a wide volume range will satisfy a wide range of interested parties.
• The conical hopper at the bottom is made of S350 GD - Z600 structural steel. It is available in 45° or 60° angles depending on the required flow rate of the stored material. The silos are designed so that the material flows reliably through them under the action of gravity.
• The expeditionary force also includes an access door, roof ladder and roof hatch.
